We don’t just specialise in delivering ready-mix concrete, we also offer a wide range of Concrete Services including assisted laying, site visits, concrete testing and concrete collections.

With over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, we have built up a deserved reputation for high quality service and we take great pride in everything we do.

Below are some of the additional services Maxi RMC can provide.

Assisted Laying …

This is a service we offer in conjunction with our Maxi Horizontal solution; a specifically designed concrete that is perfect for floor slabs and negates the need for a power float by providing higher quality finishes.

If you need assistance in how to lay Maxi Horizontal concrete correctly, then we can provide a trained operative to come to your site and offer advice as well as a 10-minute demonstration on how to lay the product correctly.

Site Visits …

Should you need additional advice and assistance on concrete requirements then we are more than happy to carry out site visits as part of our Concrete Services. These can help us get a better idea of the scale of your project and allows us to answer any technical questions or other site related queries you may need answering.

Concrete Testing …

Concrete testing is an essential practice designed to ensure your concrete is of sufficient strength and durability.

Here at Maxi RMC we are able to offer concrete cube testing services for specific customers or sites depending on requirements. This is where a sample batch of concrete is measured out in small cubic moulds and stored at set temperatures to test how the concrete would perform in different conditions.

Following this process, the concrete is then put into a compression testing machine to measure the extent of how much it cracks. This can help give you an idea of the compression strength of the concrete and may take place at 7,14 or 28 days after the concrete has been mixed.

Concrete Collection Services …

Concrete collections are available direct from our Whetstone Plant which caters to sites based in and around Leicestershire.  We offer a fast and efficient concrete collection service which is also available for our MaxiScreed solution. Booking is not required for these services.
