It’s an extremely exciting time here at Maxi HQ as we are pleased to announce a major step forward in our company growth with the news that Aggregate Industries have invited the Maxi Brand to join their family.
As part of Aggregate Industries’ Strategy 2022 – “Building for Growth”, this will allow us to expand our operations as part of an industry-leading partnership, initially developing our services across the Midlands where regional growth opportunities are extremely competitive and increasing all the time.
State-of-the-Art Technology …
We are proud to say that our team at Maxi have worked hard to reach this point and establish our strong market position. One of the driving factors behind the takeover has been our progressive attitude in adopting state-of-the-art technology in the form of our Readymix Concrete Plant. This has placed us far ahead of the competition in terms of the key components that customers look for – reliability of delivery and excellence in Customer Service.
We made the decision to invest in a state of the art Liebherr German plant back in 2014 complete with microwave moisture sensors and additional slump monitoring devices for optimum workability.
Its production rates of 110m3 per hour of compacted concrete with silo capacity of 400 tonne and aggregate capacity of 650 tonne make our concrete plant by far the most technically advanced concrete production facility in the whole of Leicester and the wider East Midlands.

We are proud to note that Guy Edwards, CEO of Aggregate Industries, recognised how Maxi’s “experience in the construction sector and […] strong focus on customer service” will assist and complement Aggregate in their “future growth plans”.
And it’s not only the Midlands that this new, expanded family is taking by storm. This purchase marks a new stage in our national growth, with the possibility of taking the partnership UK-wide and bringing our premium services to individuals and companies across the country.
